On Thursday, JANUARY 28, 2021 the Guadalupe County Republican Women will kick off 2021 with a program featuring the new mayor of Seguin, Donna Dodgen. The luncheon/meeting will be held at the Seguin Silver Center at 510 East Court Street beginning at 11:30 am. Lunch is available by making reservations with Glenda Layton by calling 830.391.3979 or firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, January 22. The program is free but if you plan on enjoying a delicious lunch, the cost is $10.
Mayor Dodgen currently works at Post Acute Medical Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Luling in the capacity of a clinical dietitian, director of the dietary, and corporate director of LTAC dietary services. Previous service positions include Zonta International District 10 Governor and City Councilwoman for District 7 in Seguin Texas. Donna was born and raised in a very small town in South Texas and is very active in her community, serving on the Seguin Schertz Local Government Corporation, at Emanuel’s Lutheran Church, member of the inaugural class of the Citizens Fire Academy, and current president of the Alumni Association, involved in the Seguin Police Academy Alumni Association and the local speaker’s bureau and within her profession.
